A freight forwarder organizes international moves as a principal: origin, ocean or air, customs, destuff. A US property broker arranges motor carriage and is not the carrier. Many brands hold both licenses. The distinction matters for claims, house bills, and who is on the FMC or FMCSA record. This site does not book freight.
