Accessorial charges
Accessorials are tariff extras on top of linehaul: liftgate, residential, inside delivery, limited access, appointment, sort-and-seg, reweigh/reclass. They are not computed from CBM or PCF. They are triggered by the shipper/consignee attributes you put on the BOL. A correct class on a residential liftgate still buys two accessorials; a wrong class buys a third.
Declare the site type when you quote. Surprise limited-access (school, church, farm, military, tradeshow) is how a cheap LTL lane becomes an expensive story.
