A 40ft high cube (40HC) shares the standard 40-footer's floor but adds about a foot of height — same pallet count on the floor, room for taller loads.

Max payload ~58,600 lb (26,580 kg). The extra height helps tall single stacks; true double-stacking still needs low-profile loads.
