Cube utilization
Cube utilization is how much of the allowed pallet envelope the cartons occupy. On this site it is carton length × width × height × count, divided by usable deck × allowed cargo height. Wrap shrinks the deck; a weight cap that stops stacking leaves empty height, so utilization falls. It is a planning ratio, not a crush test.
Formula
Utilization = (carton L × W × H × cartons on the pallet) / (usable deck L × usable deck W × allowed cargo height).
